Kristin Chenoweth, celebrated for her Tony-winning performance in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown in 1999, has continued to inspire fans despite living with a rare condition. She was diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease at 30, after years of struggling with migraines and sudden episodes of vertigo. The disorder, caused by a buildup of fluid in the inner ear, affects hearing and balance and often brings intense, lasting headaches.

In interviews, Kristin has shared how the symptoms at times made her consider stepping away from her career. She vividly recalled leaving the 2009 Emmys in an ambulance after being unable to celebrate her win for Outstanding Supporting Actress due to a severe flare-up.

Rather than keeping her struggles private, Kristin has used her voice to raise awareness. She speaks openly about migraines and Meniere’s Disease, challenging the stigma that pain isn’t real if it’s invisible, and encouraging others to seek understanding and support.
