wild conspiracy theories
1#Eco-Friendly for Show, Not for Change

Whenever I talk about this, people tell me I’m overthinking it or falling for a conspiracy. But honestly, it feels pretty obvious to me. A lot of big companies only push eco-friendly products in places customers can see because it makes them look responsible. It shifts the focus onto individuals, subtly suggesting that pollution is our fault because we used a plastic straw or didn’t recycle properly. Meanwhile, those same companies are often creating massive amounts of waste and pollution behind the scenes. Switching to paper or metal straws might make customers feel better, but in reality, it barely scratches the surface compared to the environmental damage caused by large-scale corporate operations.
